London Calling: Punk Style A/W 2013

Punk and Grunge dominated the A/W 2013 catwalks and on a recent trip to the London I could definitely see the trend filtering down to the high street.  Nobody does Autumn/Winter style like London, from classic trench coats to woolly tartans, we Brits remain predictably stylish in the not so predictable weather.

Take inspiration from the trends of the late 70s and punk it up. Don't be afraid to leave your style comfort zone and make a statement.  When it comes to punk and grunge more is more so combine leather boots with infinite buckles and everything tartan.

“In all my time taking pictures on the tube, only one person ever objected, ” revealed photographer Bob Mazzer, “and that was a guy with a huge teddy bear on his lap, which was a pity because it would have been a great picture.” Spitalfieldslife.com

Givenchy breaking all the fashion rules and getting away with it. Red definitely does go with pink and tartan definitely looks good with floral print.
